Celebrating the musical phenomenon that is Runrig, this exhibition draws together a history of the band over the last thirty five years. During this time, Runrig has been at the forefront of the Celtic music scene in
Over the years the band has amassed a huge amount of material related to their achievements – memorabilia, photographs, newspaper cuttings, tickets, letters, discs, songs, etc - however until now, none of this material had been pulled together in one space to allow the public to appreciate the contribution the band has made to the Gael and to Scotland as a whole.
For those who know RunRig this exhibition is a must. For those who are still to experience their music, which has been part of the revival of our culture, instilling confidence in a generation of Gaels, we would suggest that the visit is very much worth while.
But as long as I can see the morning
And blossom comes to bud again in Spring
It’s enough to keep me still believing
