In 1975 the last surviving Clyde Puffer was found derelict in Whitby Harbour. It was lovingly restored and now plies up and down the West Coast of Scotland throughout the summer every year, carrying thousands of passengers on an idyllic cruise through some of the finest scenery on earth. Part of the experience which has drawn Puffer enthusiasts back again and again are the delicious meals prepared for them in the tiny galley, which has no electricity but limitless supplies of boiling water as befits a steam vessel!
