| Description | Egyptian Dance - come along to these new classes and learn this ancient and beautiful art! Raqs Sharqi (Eastern Dance) is the traditional dance of Egypt which has been handed down from mother to daughter within the entertainer clans for centuries. The dance itself is earthy, flowing, joyful, expressive, and great fun. Suitable for men and women of all ages. Rebecca Johncocks has been learning the dance for over 20 years and has taken classes from the master teachers of the Raqs Sharqi Society, She has recently completed a foundation course in teacher training for Arabic Dance. Classes: Wednesdays 17, 24 February, 3rd and 10th March. |
