Directed by Oliver Parker and Barnaby Thompson. Running time: 106 mins. This sequel surrounds the schoolgirls beginning a new term amidst the usual chaos and excitement. A roller-coaster style treasure hunt for the legendary Fritton's Gold ensues as they face their most fearsome establishment rivals yet, but the feisty and ever-resourceful girls of St Trinians are undeterred in their mission to outwit the villainous Pomfrey and his sidekicks from the secret society known as AD1, which believes in the suppression and subjugation of women, a stance that makes him a hated target for the girls.
