KODA are a young band based in Biggar, Lanarkshire who perform Scottish Music in their own unique contemporary style. The band consists of several accordions, fiddle and bagpipes supported by a lively rhythm section (piano, bass, keyboards, drums and percussion) with Shelley Clark’s vocals providing even more variety to their performance.
The band has performed in France, Germany, Ireland and Czech Republic and at numerous venues around the UK including Wembley Conference Centre, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and Edinburgh’s International Conference Centre for the Earl of Wessex.
KODA have been invited to perform at this year’s T in the Park Festival and at the Scots Music Awards (BBC Alba) held in Dumfries in November.
The band recently released their fourth CD ‘Keepin’ it Reel’ which was voted Album of the Week on Celtic Music Radio and has received very favourable reviews:
“Buy it and have a rollicking good time with your friends! It is the kind of music you need to share with them”   Joan C Sommers (Accordions Worldwide)
“compulsive listening from start to finish” Rob Howard (A – Z of the Accordion) “an outstanding piece of musicianship which I would more than highly recommend” Bill Brown (Box and Fiddle).

KODA will include tracks from this new CD during their set, which will be preceded by a performance from the members of Skye Accordion and Fiddle Club.
Cost Tickets £10 and £6 for under 16
