| Description | MsFits Theatre Co. presents ‘Fur Coat and Magic Knickers’ by Rona Munro Pensioner Maggie is a compulsive shopper with more cards than Hallmark. She just has to BUY BUY BUY! But why has she got her eye on that store detective!? Personal Shopper Jenny is at breaking point, her job’s on the line, she just has to SELL! But... she has Second Hand Rose to contend with! Rose, has a hot date for her daughter’s wedding and she just refuses to get into those Magic Knickers! When alarm bells ring three women find themselves in the adventure of a lifetime, will they ever be the same again?! It’s funny, it’s moving, it’s topical, it’s…. a brand new comedy drama from Fiona Knowles and Rona Munro, an award winning partnership spanning more than two decades Fiona Knowles – award winning comedy actress for ‘I Spy Mrs Peery’, LWT Award nominated for ‘Walking on the Roof’ and acclaimed for her virtuoso performances in other MsFit plays including ‘Sex & Chocolate’, ‘Stick Granny on the Rioof Rack’ and ‘Women on the Verge of a T Junction’. Fiona has worked in TV, Stage and Radio since 1975. Rona Munro – award winning playwright. Film credits include Ken Loach’s ‘Ladybird Ladybird’ and ‘Aimee and Jaguar’. Stage credits include commissions for the RSC, NTS, Traverse Theatre, Manchester Royal Exchange, Hampstead Theatre and The Edinbugh Intenational Festival. Plays include ‘Bold Girls’, ‘Iron’ and ‘Long Time Dead’.
