| Description | Scots fiddle master Alasdair Fraser presents original and traditional music of his homeland with unrivalled beauty, eloquence, passion, and energy. His richly expressive playing transports listeners across a broad musical spectrum with a vast repertoire including raucous dance tunes, haunting Gaelic-inspired pieces, classically-styled airs and his own compositions. He links bows with vibrant young cellist Natalie Haas in an exciting weave of rocking, reeling rhythms, poignant melodies, and exquisite musicianship. The duo has created quite a buzz among Celtic music lovers at festivals and concert halls across North America and Europe, and their superb debut album Fire and Grace won Album of the Year at the 2004 Scots Traditional Music Awards.
